Laws ambiguous about legality of medical pot

ST. JOHNS, Fla. -- Vague legal jargon and apparently contradictory laws are fueling confusion over the legality of medical marijuana in Florida.

Two separate Florida laws are being talked about in the case with Scott and Marcia Yandell, the St. Johns couple arrested for allegedly running a marijuana operation out of their home, and neither law clarifies whether it's legal.

The Yandells were charged with drug trafficking after police raided their home on Monday and seized more than 40 pounds of marijuana. They bonded out at $10,000 each Monday evening. Their landlord is now evicting them, but they have yet to leave the house, according to the Sheriffs Office.

They allege they've done nothing wrong, citing a state law governing alternative health care treatments....
