Medical marijuana vote expected in PA Senate committee Tuesday

A bill that would legalize some form of medical marijuana in Pennsylvania will be considered by the Senate State Government Committee on Tuesday, according to the committee's calendar.

Language for the bill, which is expected to receive an amendment before being voted by the 11-member committee, has not been finalized, said Steve Hoenstine, spokesman for Sen. Daylin Leach, D-Montgomery County. Leach is a prime co-sponsor of the bill and a member of the committee.
