The sudden launch of a crackdown on Barcelona Cannabis Social Clubs, initiated by the mayor of the Catalan capital Xavier Trias, seems to have backfired on him.

Xavier Trias has announced actions against Cannabis Social Clubs (CSC) because he wants to close down all locations located within 150 metres of ‘minors’, thus aiming for those located nearby schools, swimming pools, sports facilities and other similar facilities.
