Cannabis debate sparked in Surrey
Pro-cannabis campaigners are encouraging people in Surrey to come and debate the drug with them.
The group Surrey Cannabis Club want personal use of cannabis to be decriminalised and the medical use of the drug to be legalised.
Today they are hosting what they are calling a 'peaceful protestival' in Stoke Park from 1pm - 5pm.
They are encouraging members of the community to come down and give their views, and discuss the pros and cons of ending the prohibition of cannabis.
In a statement, the group said:
"We want to actively encourage non-consumers of cannabis to attend this event so they can inform themselves of the issues, ask questions and interact with members of the pro-cannabis movement."
The group believes that banning cannabis is more harmful than legalising it.
