Public weighs in on adding new condition to Minnesota’s Medical Cannabis Program

ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Health Office of Medical Cannabis is holding its first of three public meetings in Rochester. The meetings are intended to answer any questions Minnesotans may have on the current state of the Medical Cannabis Program, as well as allow them to weigh in on the future.

The meeting was held in the Rochester Public Library where a room full of people weren’t shy about offering their comments and concerns about the program. A question many people gave their thoughts on was whether or not to add intractable pain to the list of conditions that currently qualify people for the cannabis program. Many were vocal about their support to add that and other conditions to the list, including Jennifer Clark of Rochester.
