The difference between a ‘cannabis entrepreneur’ and a drug-dealer

Eddie Miller is the founder and CEO of InvestInCannabis, a New York City-based portfolio of marijuana investment opportunities. But he is not a drug dealer.

Earlier this summer, I met with Miller and learned more about his background and his business vision for cannabis (check out the video above of Miller). In anarticle Thursday for TechCrunch, he went further, laying out his vision for a “green rush” that could potentially change the way most Americans think of the cannabis industry, and the people who make a living in it.

“Traditionally, whenever anyone mentioned the words “cannabis” and “entrepreneur” together in one sentence, it meant one thing: drug dealer,” wrote Miller. “That’s changing very quickly — and technology will play a huge role in the industry’s future legitimacy.”
