How To Get Your Local MPs To Attend The Cannabis Debate 2015

MPs are now wise to what they call ‘campaign emails’. The large number of campaigns by groups such as 38 Degrees have really swamped MPs with repetitive correspondence. It doesn’t work to send what is clearly a template or automatically generated email and unfortunately you will just be ignored. Many MPs have started to and actually warn against this now on their website.

Here is some advice from our friends at CLEAR:

Find out who your MP is by entering your postcode on this website: http://www.theyworkforyou.com/

Find out your MP’s email address by looking their name up here: http://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/mps/

Also do an Internet search of your MP’s name which will lead you to their personal website and more contact details.

Write by letter to your MP at: House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA

Either an email or a letter is fine but you might want to consider doing both!
