The state’s Ballot Board met Friday to rewrite the pot proposal’s ballot wording after the state Supreme Court ruled it was misleading.
The Ohio Ballot Board and ResponsibleOhio agreed to the language which will appear on the ballot.
If Issue 3 passes, it will set up 10 approved, privately-owned grow sites in Ohio.
ResponsibleOhio’s “Green Rush Bus Tour” rolled through Portage County on September 15, stopping in Ravenna to campaign for the legalization of marijuana for medicinal and personal use in the state.
Both Husted and ResponsibleOhio claimed victory with the results.
On Wednesday, the high court ordered the board to reconvene and replace four paragraphs detailing certain requirements for marijuana retailers, the amount of marijuana a person can grow and transport, and the potential for additional growing facilities.
