Investors say they're encouraged by potential of marijuana to heal people

COLUMBUS, Ohio —No more bickering over ballot language when it comes to a proposed constitutional amendment aimed at legalizing both medicinal and recreational marijuana in Ohio.

A state board has approved final wording used to describe the pro-marijuana plan known as Issue 3.

The first line reads, "Issue 3 grants a monopoly for the production and sale of marijuana."

So who are the people who would own the monopoly?

WLWT news 5 investigative reporter Todd Dykes spent time with one of the men bankrolling the pot plan in Hamilton County.

"I've tried a lot of businesses that haven't made it, and that have failed," Bill Foster told Dykes. "But in order to succeed, you have to fail."
