Next month, cannabis legislation will be discussed in Parliament, after a university student created an online petition to make the ‘production, sale and use of cannabis legal.’ The petition submitted to the parliament website received over 200,000 signatures – double what it needed for it to be considered as a debate in the House of Commons.
