Why do we need to decriminalise cannabis to recognise its medicinal qualities?

That’s the question posed by the Health and Social Care Minister who’s responded after the issue sparked a debate in the House of Keys.

Qualified chemist, and Speaker of the House, Steve Rodan agrees – he says self-medicating is unwise, but it makes sense to extract benefit from the drug.
