Latest news has revealed that the number of Marijuana shops have increased in the state of Oregon, and it's mostly because of medical requirements although recreational use has already been legalized.

According to a report by ZeroHedge, these Marijuana shops in Oregon have grown to become thriving businesses for those owners who have put up retail shops in the state. The report even quipped that the abundance of these retailers could be compared to franchises of popular food chain including McDonald's and Starbucks.

"In the state of Oregon, where marijuana for recreational purposes was legalized just over a month ago, there are already more retail marijuana shops than there are McDonald's or Starbucks," said the news.
