Drug task force officer is caught in $2million drugs bust after being found with 247 pounds of marijuana in his car after driving from California to Pennsylvania

A drugs task force officer has been arrested after being caught in a £2million marijuana bust.

Christopher Mark Heath, 37, was stopped alongside two other alleged drug traffickers after police found 247 pounds of marijuana in their car along with $11,000 in cash.

They also found Heath's identity badge along with his police-issued gun.

Heath and his two alleged accomplices Neil Long and Ryan Jay Falsone were stopped in Pennsylvania in the early hours of December 29.

Police believe that they had drove from California to Pennsylvania to sell large quantities of the drugs.
