Aphria Inc. ("Aphria" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:APH) is pleased to announce that the Company has received a license from Health Canada for the production of cannabis under the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (Canada) ("MMPR") for its new Part 1 expansion in Leamington, Ontario.
Under the MMPR, the license amendment provides Aphria with additional production space of 22,000 square feet. In addition, over 7,000 square feet of additional infrastructure, including the Company's oil extraction room, chemistry laboratory and microbiology laboratory were approved.
