The Pennsylvania health department has been working on the state's forthcoming Medical Marijuana Program since the day after Gov. Tom Wolf signed the Medical Marijuana Act into law, according to health department officials.

Dr. Karen Murphy, the state's health secretary, spoke Wednesday during the first of several monthly news events to discuss the program's progress. Below are four things to know.
