Bloomberg reported, after the rapper unveiled a line of marijuana products in October 2016, the share price of Canadian cannabis companies soared. As the Marijuana industry matures and attracts more traditional capital it’ll be a fascinating space to watch unroll. Snoop Dogg has lit a bowl that he hopes others with influence will be drawn to. Jane Street, reported that the rapper is keen to get other celebs on board, such as chef and seasoned business woman Martha Stewart.
Snoops investments are not purely focused on the cannabis industry, he has also invested into one of the world’s leading online forum sites Reddit, alongside 15 other companies, according to Nick Adler the rappers investment manager.
