An enterprising Niagara Falls man who became a cannabis delivery driver at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has been sentenced for violations under the Cannabis Act for breaking the cardinal rule: never get high on one’s own supply.

Adam Kowal, 45, has been placed under house arrest after pleading guilty to possession of cannabis for the purpose of distribution, Niagara Falls Review reports. Kowal will serve a nine-month conditional sentence, the first six months of which he will spend under house arrest.
