2. Cannabis and Fitness

What does cannabis have to do with working out and staying fit? Ellementa, a global platform for canna-curious women, aims to answer these questions in their upcoming session, “Let’s Talk About: Cannabis and Fitness.” Andrea Meharg, a former elementary school teacher turned cannabis wellness coach and educator, will lead the discussion.
3. Rocky Mountain Cannabis Connection

Hosted at Rancho Relaxo Resort, one of Alberta’s prime eco-tourism destinations, this event offers activities for both budding entrepreneurs and growers as well as bud enthusiasts. The schedule includes camping, live music and workshops on subjects ranging from cooking with cannabis to ganja yoga to sex and parenting in relation to marijuana. Smoking, vaping and any other forms of cannabis consumption are allowed. Attendees are advised to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bud).
4. Wiz Khalifa: The Decent Exposure Tour

Wiz Khalifa’s love for weed is smokin’ hot this year. Not only does the American rap artist have an established cannabis business in the U.S., but in June, he announced a partnership with Canadian producer The Supreme Cannabis. Now, he is headed to the land of legal weed for The Decent Exposure Tour, taking place at the Budweiser Stage, Ontario Place.
5. Cannabis Corpse
When: August 1

A group so into weed that they named their band after it. Cannabis Corpse is a death-metal band founded in 2006 in Richmond, Virginia, by Landphil and Hallhammer. This summer, the band will be hitting some high notes at Toronto’s Velvet Underground. Smoking is not allowed on the premises.
6. Cannafest
When: Aug 8–10
Where: Grand Forks, B.C.

Time to rock and “roll”! Pitch a tent for the weekend or stay for just a day at this three-day classic-rock fest. This year’s lineup includes Cheap Trick, Eddie Money and Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil. The event will allow people to smoke and vape in designated areas.
7. Edmonton Folk Music Festival

Launched in 1980, the festival brings together the best in folk music from around the world. This year, they will also bring together pot lovers. Smoking and vaping will be allowed in designated areas only.
8. CGC Fore20 Golf Tournament and Market

Don’t keep off the grass at this Fore20. The fourth annual tourney and pop-up market by The Cannabis Growers of Canada will allow people to meet craft producers and sample and purchase and products. Proceeds from Spectator tickets and Putting Challenge will go to the Overdose Prevention Society.
