The Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS), the province’s government cannabis retailer, is celebrating weed’s first birthday with a special line of 20 ‘Canniversary’ products.

In addition to the limited-run products, the online store has also made improvements to help users find their way around, and is scheduled to begin a pilot project in Toronto (with a gradual expansion to other areas) for same-day shipping.

Of the 20 products, here are some under $20.

Buds

Charlotte CBD via OCS

  • The Batch: For $6.50/g, you can get whole, dried flowers, which pack a low dose of CBD (0-2 per cent) but a high dose of THC (10-16 per cent), a nice little blend of Indica and Sativa. It’s described as having “unique” flavours and aromas.
  • Charlotte CBD: A hybrid strain born from Charlotte’s Angel, this bud comes on with low levels of CBD (0-1 per cent) and high levels of THC (11-17 per cent). Its terpene profile shows that it’s got citrus, lemony flavour, all for $7.78/g
  • Twd. Balanced pre-roll: These pre-rolls provide a well-balanced hybrid option for those looking to strike their cannabis experience right down the middle. It comes with 5-13 per cent THC, and 3-11 per cent CBD, and was grown in Canada! You can get one roll for $10.70.

It comes in amber, green, pink or purple, all of which look futuristic and badass. It even has an ash catcher! What more could you want for $19?

Extras

Free softgels via OCS Free Softgels via OCS

  • Free softgels: Think Advil gel capsules, but with a little more pomp. The softgels are advertised as a way to consume cannabis without having to smoke, smell or taste it. The capsules contain 1 mg of THC and 5.5 mg of CBD, and are Indica dominant. For $15, you can get 15 capsules. We’ll soon see more ways to legally enjoy cannabis once the newly legalized products hit shelves, expected to happen in mid-December — just in time for the holidays!
