The Master Vapourizer has arrived.

Figr is looking beyond Atlantic Canada, having just launched its new line of vaping products that will be available first at the Ontario Cannabis Store and then select retail locations across the country.

“Our new vape pods and cartridges are designed to deliver the same experience our customers expect with all Figr products,” said Harvey Carroll, president of Figr. “Our customers are at the root of everything we do and our dedication to craftsmanship, scientific rigour and transparency is what drives our continued improvement and innovation. This new product line is no exception,” Carroll said.

The P.E.I.-based company’s Master Vape Pods, which use a titanium coil and cotton wick, will be available in Citrus, Melon, Mixed Berry and Terpene varieties. The vapourizer is rechargeable and features two temperature settings specifically determined to work best with the pods.

Figr, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pyxus International, Inc., only entered the Ontario market last month when it found itself with an overabundance of cannabis on its hands ahead of the holidays.

“The entrance into Ontario marks yet another significant milestone for Figr as it continues to expand its footprint across Canada,” Pyxus president, CEO and chairman Pieter Sikkel, said at the time. “Ontario is the most populated province in Canada, with more than 14 million residents, all of whom now have the opportunity to purchase Figr high-quality, fully traceable cannabis products.”

Pyxus reported it uses a seed-to-sale tracking system called SENTRI to document a product’s supply chain journey and provide transparency to consumers.

“The Canadian government’s green light for derivative cannabis products, including vape, presents the opportunity for Figr to progress its product diversification in order to meet the growing demand for high-quality, adult-use cannabis products,” Sikkel said. “The launch of Figr’s new products is particularly timely, as the company continues to expand its footprint across Canada,” he added.

Pyxus’ products can now be found in four Canadian provinces: P.E.I., Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Ontario.
