Romania appears on all international drug trafficking routes say specialists at the highest level of the European Union. At the annual conference of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction held this week in Lisbon, Romania was represented by Antena 3.
Sonia Simionov, was the only Romanian journalist invited to take part in the declarations relating to the latest data from the European market and drug trafficking.
Last year nearly 35 million young adults used cannabis. The figure is almost seven million higher than in the previous year. Cocaine remains the second in consumer preferences and traffickers. Over 5.5 million Europeans have tried it at least once in 2014. And no less than 4 million customers last year called for therapeutic help after they found they could not get rid of a dependence on ecstasy.
