The CEO of Denver-based Kindman announces the expansion of his production and packaging facilities, an action that should help to stabilize the pricing of cannabis

DENVER (June 15, 2015) -- One of Colorado’s flagship legal marijuana growers and distributors is expanding its operations; part of an effort its chief executive says will go a long way towards stabilizing the currently volatile pricing of cannabis.

As the Colorado Pot Guide web site recently noted, prices for legal cannabis have dropped significantly this year, due to the explosion of “grow only” operations across the state. That oversupply is good for consumers, but is forcing companies to lower their prices in order to remain competitive.

At the same time, however, the financial news site 24/7 Wall Street reports spot prices for a pound of legal cannabis rose five percent nationally week-over-week, for the week ending June 12; due to factors such as changing...
