US Cannabis Market Growth Continues as Illinois Opens First MMJ Cultivation Center

TAMPA, Fla. - The U.S. market for legal cannabis goods and services expanded further last week with the announcement that Illinois’ first state-authorized medical cannabis cultivation center has begun growing crops. That’s more good news for Neutra Corp. (NTRR) as the company continues to add new cannabis cultivation clients to its rapidly growing roster.

Officials at Ataraxia in southeastern Illinois told reporters last week that the facility received state authorization July 10 and has begun cultivating the genetic strains that will be the basis of their products. When Ataraxia reaches full-scale production, it will grow cannabis year-round at its 52,000-square-foot facility in the city of Albion, according to the Chicago Tribune.
