The Pennsylvania Medical Society doesn’t support Senate Bill 3, which would legalize the medical use of marijuana for specific illnesses in the state, because of lack of research and lack of FDA approval for the substance's use in treatment. The group urges supporters of the bill to wait, to slow down and do it right.
Campaign for Compassion doesn't want to wait. As patients and as parents of sick children, they argue that the need for medical marijuana is urgent. They are content with the research and information already available from around the world, including the 23 states plus Washington, D.C., where medical marijuana is already legal in some form....
