There have been promises of millions in revenue that will do everything from fund fire departments to filling potholes. The other side says it's the promises that are full of holes, starting with job creation and the monopoly Issue 3 would create for marijuana growers.
"We are trying to create this opportunity, not just for those 10 growers, but also for thousands of Ohioans to own and operate their own retail stores and own manufacturing facilities and own medical marijuana dispensaries," Responsible Ohio Executive Director Ian James said.
Attorney Keith Ashmus disagrees and believes Issue 3 will only damage Ohio's workforce.
