NTRR: Cannabis Industry Seeks Out New Solutions to Pesticide Problem

TAMPA, Fla.--As Neutra Corp. (OTCQB: NTRR) continues working to deliver safer, better solutions for cultivators across North America, cannabis businesses and state agencies are still grappling with the use of potentially harmful pesticides in the nascent industry. A recent independent study found dangerous levels of pesticides in cannabis products in Denver.

“Recalls are bad for the entire industry”

A CNN report published on Wednesday discovered that at least one over-the-counter cannabis concentrate tested positive for a neurotoxin named imidacloprid. According to the Colorado Department of Agriculture, it’s a chemical that cannot be used on cannabis crops. Due to CNN’s sample finding, 2,362 cannabis products were voluntarily recalled earlier in the month.
