Police discovered more than 100 marijuana plants at an indoor grow operation at a Beaumont residence, which was partially powered by stolen electricity.
Members of the Beaumont Police Department's Multiple Enforcement Team served a search warrant Friday in the 1400 block of Moonlight Drive, where police said the second floor of the home was completely converted into a marijuana grow facility.
Police also found lights, ballasts, hydroponics and other grow equipment.
Southern California Edison confirmed that a bypass on the home's electrical supply allowed more than an estimated $18,000 in electricity to be stolen to facilitate the operation.
No one was at the home Friday when the search warrant was served.
