Bonta was a main sponsor of Assembly Costs 266, among three procedures known jointly as the Medical Marijuana Regulation and Security Act (MMRSA).
He also took part in a panel at the 2015 Marijuana Company Conference and Expo in Las Vegas last month to go over some of the ins and outs of the new policies, which are far from completed. (The three expenses set the stage for more rulemaking by state agencies over the next 2 years.)
