True Leaf Enters the Pet and Natural Product Landscape

True Leaf’s Darcy Bomford attended  the Global Pet Expo in Florida, which wrapped up March 6.  His objective was to research the existing pet health landscape. CEO Bomford has 30 years’ experience in the pet industry and is returning to the sector with the True Leaf, the Quality of Life Company.

As True Leaf awaits the approval of its license application through the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) program, the company is looking to enter the $53 billion pet industry with a line of products focused on hemp nutrition. True Leaf will market through direct, pet, natural health and veterinary channels, followed by the development of a veterinary approved cannabis-based pet medication.
