Global Marijuana March: Libertarians, Marijuana Marchers Converge in North Texas on Saturday

The Global Marijuana March returns to North Texas this Saturday in Hyde Park in downtown Ft. Worth and libertarians will be in the thick of it once again as usual. Last year an estimated 2,000 cannabis freedom supporters flooded the streets and organizers hope to top that with 3,000 participants this year.

The event is a worldwide, nationwide, Texas-wide phenomenon taking place in over 300 cities around the globe including seven in the Lone Star State. The Ft. Worth event featuring food and drink, vendor booths, nonstop live music, speeches and a peaceful march from Hyde Park to the traditional rally on the Tarrant County Courthouse steps is hosted by the Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (DFW NORML).
