Erin said on Monday that MGC's first range of 15 cannabidiol-based cosmetic products - facial creams, soaps, toners and cleansing masks - is set for commercial launch over the coming months.

"Erin Resources is pleased to announce the imminent launch by MGC Pharmaceuticals Ltd of its initial CBD (cannabidiol) cosmetics product range, with first sales expected to occur by December 2015," Erin said on Monday.

Any discussion about transnational organized crime almost inevitably includes the trade in illicit drugs. Russia has cancelled a ban on the Russian-language version of Wikipedia after it caused controversy among internet users in the country.

The Russian communications watchdog told internet providers late on Monday to block access to the site in Russian after a court ruled an entry on hashish contained banned information.

Users across the country then reported they were not able to access the site.

Wikimedia RU, the group that supports the local version of Wikipedia, had earlier decided not to remove the article on charas, a cannabis resin, after a warning from the communications watchdog Roskomnadzor.

Russia banned Wikipedia on Monday, following through on threats to block the world's biggest encyclopedia due to a page about cannabis that Russia censors deemed illegal.

Roskomnadzor, the Russian censors responsible for surveilling and policing the Internet, pulled the trigger on the ban after demanding Wikipedia remove the page for charas, a form of hashish cannabis. The authorities complained that the Wikipedia page gave explicit instructions on how to make the product.

The Russian government’s technology and internet watchdog is threatening to block Reddit across the country if it does not remove a thread dedicated to growing cannabis.

Here's an alphabetical list of Countries and States that have legalized treating yourself with the natural plant, cannabis: 

The first up is Argentina where it's legal for personal use in small amounts (in private).

Australia: Illegal (decriminalized in some states) One or two plants may be privately grown for personal use in the Australian Capital Territory and South Australia. Personal grows of up to two plants are decriminalized in the Northern Territory.

Belize: Illegal, but mostly tolerated.

Bolivia: Illegal (but decriminalized).

Botswana: Illegal, but mostly unenforced.
