Here’s How CBD Can Treat Your Quarantine Body Pains

Long hours spent sitting down in front of a computer can lead to body aches and health issues. Here’s how CBD can help.

People in the U.S. have been following social distancing guidelines for about a month. The more that time passes, the more people get used to quarantine and let go of the strict schedules and habits, leaving room for more hours spent sitting down in front of screens and an off sync sleep schedule. This takes a toll on everyone, even on people who continue to exercise regularly and to eat healthy foods.

Nearly 30% of weed smokers switched to alternative products during pandemic

With experts warning of the dangers of smoking amid the coronavirus pandemic, 28% of marijuana smokers in a new survey said they have made the switch to edibles and other alternative methods of consuming cannabis.

The survey released by AmericanMarijuana.org looked at the cannabis habits of 1,017 consumers in the U.S. as the global health crisis unfolds.

COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus (Sars-CoV-2) first identified in China, attacks the lungs, provoking pneumonia or acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) in the more severe cases.

There is no difference between the effects of indica and sativa marijuana strains, scientists say

When you enter a marijuana dispensary you're met with sterile white walls and glass-encased counters that hold marijuana flower, vape pens, chocolates, gummies, and other psychoactive goodies.

Whether a dispensary has a menu hung on its wall, a digital list patrons can scroll through on an iPad, or a physical paper booklet they can flip through, these informational materials, at the very least, classify each marijuana strain as an "indica," "sativa," or "hybrid," and may also include information on the effects and THC concentrations of the Sour Diesel strain or the Blue Dream strain, for example.

4/20 uncertainty: Marijuana industry tested in virus crisis

The unofficial holiday celebrating all things cannabis arrives Monday as the nation’s emerging legal marijuana market braces for an economic blow from the coronavirus crisis, with many consumers reducing spending or going underground for deals.

It was supposed to be a long weekend of festivals and music culminating on April 20, or 4/20, the code for marijuana’s high holiday. Instead, it has been reduced to an online replica because of stay-at-home orders to curb the pandemic.

Celebrating pot not a reason to breach public health orders, says P.E.I. Cannabis

The 20th of April, the annual celebratory day for cannabis consumers, looks much different this year.

Zach Currie, director of cannabis operations with P.E.I. Cannabis,  says they're still encouraging those eager to enjoy the day, but to do it safely and with respect to what has been laid out by P.E.I.'s Chief Public Health Office.

"We're basically trying to relay a message that aligns with the general messaging coming from the public health community, which is, you know, maintaining social distancing wherever you can," he said.

"Especially with cannabis, you know, you don't want to be sharing."
