Can you get high from THC stored in your body fat?

muscular woman

THC stored in fat cells gradually diffuse into the bloods. Regardless, the rate of diffusion increases under circumstances that promote fat utilization, such as exercising and fasting.

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) accumulates in fat tissue and can stay there for months. Although this can serve as a barrier to those who face frequent testing, athletes may take delight in the results of exuding THC from the fat in their bodies.

Second-hand bong smoke may pose risks to bystanders in same room

man smoking bong

Short-term exposure may cause health effects such as eye, nose, throat and lung irritation, coughing, sneezing, runny nose and shortness of breath

Some people continue to maintain that second-hand cannabis smoke (SHCS) poses no risk, but a new study out of the U.S. begs to differ.

Researchers found home cannabis bong (water pipe) smoking increased the levels of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) compared to conditions before smoking began by 100- to 1,000-fold for most test sessions.

New York State’s Department of Health reports that particles in the PM2.5 size range “are able to travel deeply into the respiratory tract, reaching the lungs.”

Problems blamed on cannabis that actually have nothing to do with cannabis

weed

Cannabis gets blamed for a ton of stuff it does not cause!

Every other week I notice these “cannabis studies” that find “using it to treat pain could make you an addict” or that “cannabis users’ age quicker” and a number of other alarmist titles. Of course, the vast majority of these studies could be designed to make milk have similar findings – yet rarely do we see actual studies on the “cannabis problems” that are NOT caused by cannabis but rather the laws surrounding cannabis.
