This Is The Future Of Cannabis. For Medicine, Nutrition And Pleasure.

One of these vape pens contains Blue Dream sativa cannabis oil, 91% THC, the other is Hindu Kush indica cannabis oil, 85% THC and the spare cartridge has the dregs of some New York City Diesel sativa, 85% THC.  You can’t tell which is which to look at them but each has a distinctive flavour and effect.  They’re not completely odour free but almost.

This is the future of cannabis as a consumer product.  It is cleaner, neater, handier, healthier and better for you than raw herbal cannabis. Most importantly, for medicinal applications, it homogenises all the compounds into an oil of consistent quality and content meaning that dosage and effect at last becomes predictable and reliable.

Police blitz on drink and drug drivers

Police are testing for cocaine, cannabis and alcohol in roadside tests – and recounting the sad story of teenager who lost his life – as part of the annual festive crackdown on drink and drug driving.

The blitz on drivers will carry one throughout December, and, as the party season approaches, they are emphasising particularly to younger drivers, that they could well be still over the limit in the morning because drink and drugs stay in the body for many hours.

Police turned up to investigate Coventry burglary but found cannabis factory instead

When the police turned up to investigate a report of a burglary at a Coventry house, they arrived in time to see two young men walking off the drive.

Although it turned out they were not the burglars, but the victims, they were reluctant to let the officers go inside.

And Warwick Crown Court heard that the reason was that upstairs they had set up a cannabis factory, which had been the target of the burglary in July last year.

Mohammed Khan and Wajid Sarwar both pleaded guilty to producing cannabis at the house in Stanley Road, Coventry, and Sarwar also admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply it.

Cannabis increases the noise in your brain

New findings published in Biological Psychiatry

Philadelphia, PA, December 3, 2015 - Several studies have demonstrated that the primary active constituent of cannabis, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (?9-THC), induces transient psychosis-like effects in healthy subjects similar to those observed in schizophrenia. However, the mechanisms underlying these effects are not clear.

A new study, published in the journal Biological Psychiatry, reports that ?9-THC increases random neural activity, termed neural noise, in the brains of healthy human subjects. The findings suggest that increased neural noise may play a role in the psychosis-like effects of cannabis.

Smoking cannabis 'helps addicts give up heroin'

Smoking weed helps patients give up opiates such as heroin, a new study has found.

Researchers at Columbia University monitored patients undergoing treatment for opiate addiction – and found that patients who smoked weed were more able to sleep, less anxious, and more likely to complete their course.

The researchers also found that dosing patients with dronabinol – a drug consisting of the ‘active’ ingredient in cannabis, THC – helped with withdrawal symptoms.

The study authors said, ‘One of the interesting study findings was the observed beneficial effect of marijuana smoking on treatment retention.
