City attorney: There's no reason Denver couldn't allow marijuana vaping

There is no state or city law that would prevent cannabis consumers from vaping marijuana in places that receive a social consumption permit.

Smoking joints and blunts would still be barred within yoga studios, concert venues and other establishments due to the restrictions put in place by the Colorado Clean Indoors Air Act. But the act leaves a loophole for vaping marijuana inside permitted businesses and venues in Denver, said city attorney Marley Bordovsky.

Bordovsky specializes in Denver’s code enforcement rules and sits on the Social Consumption Advisory Committee. The committee met for the second time Wednesday to continue ironing out suggested rules and regulations related to Initiative 300.

Well, Looks Like Canada Is This Much Closer To Legalizing Marijuana

Pot smokers and non smokers alike will agree that the current system of marijuana prohibition simply doesn’t work.

It doesn’t stop people from smoking, it wastes a monumental amount of resources, it makes criminals rich and it stops marijuana from being properly regulated.

Their mandate is simple:

The City College of San Francisco announced that it would offer marijuana-focused curriculum starting January 2018. "Obviously, with the potential growth of this industry being substantial, particularly in California, we want to offer access to this growing industry," City College spokesman Jeff Hamilton told the San Francisco Examiner last month.

Colorado Releases Comprehensive Guide for Marijuana Industry, Including Workplace Hazards Like Fires and Explosions

The Colorado Department of Health and Environment released a comprehensive guide for worker safety guide for the marijuana industry Tuesday.

The guide took about two years to complete and is likely the first of its kind compiled by a state agency, said Roberta Smith, Occupational Health Program Manager at CDHE.

Part of the purpose of the guide, Smith said, is to remind the industry that though the federal government has not sanctioned the legalization medical and recreational marijuana, businesses in the industry are still required to follow rules from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

7 Observations From Using Hemp Oil Every Day for Three Months

By now you’ve probably heard of cannabidiol (CBD), an active ingredient in cannabis that, unlike the rest of the plant, is legal in the UK.

Some people who have suffered strokes, cancer, depression, anxiety and general aches and pains have reported positive effects after using CBD, and the NHS is reportedly doing research into the compound with plans to officially class it as a medicine.

Until that happens UK citizens are free to buy CBD in its various forms online, something I first did a few months back and have been grateful for ever since.

Here are some observations from taking CBD orally every day for three months to help combat anxiety and sleep issues.

A series of driving tests involving volunteers under the influence of marijuana revealed a wide range of effects on drivers, based on their tolerance for the drug and other factors. FOX25 Investigates organized the controlled tests on a closed course, under the supervision of a doctor, law enforcement, and professional driving instructors with In Control Crash Prevention.

While some of the drivers experienced relatively minor problems after smoking increasing amounts of marijuana, at least one driver was involved in the equivalent of a potentially deadly crash, according to professional observers.

America's Burgeoning Cannabis Industry and the Road to Public Acceptance

Marijuana is easily one of the world's most controversial plants and, in the U.S., has endured a particularly rocky history.

While smoking marijuana was once viewed as an act of political dissidence against the Vietnam War, today the plant is recognized as an invaluable medicine and smoking-hot commodity that's generated billions of dollars in revenue in states where it is now fully legalized.
